Club Fitness 24 by Powerhouse Gym was opened in 1995 by Kim & Chad Coy. The Coy's first met at Purdue University, where Chad graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in Movement & Sports Science and Kim graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Retail Management. They were married in September of 1992 and are the proud parents of three children; Alexa born in 1993, Reis born in 2000 and Maxx born in 2005.  

The original site of the gym was an 8,000 square ft. facility located in Southway Plaza. After a few short years, it became apparent that the demand for a progressive, family fitness center was growing and more space was needed.

In 2001, Kim & Chad moved the gym to a new 2-story, 18,000 sq ft facility located nearby on South LaFountain Street. The facility was great and served the needs of their members very well for the next 5 years.

As the personal training programs began growing between 2003-2006, and the Coys began looking into other business opportunites, it became obvious that God had more & bigger plans for their business. As they investigated the possibilities of opening the Parisi Speed School, introducing Group Training Services through the Personal Training department, it once again became apparent that more space was going to be needed.

In December 2006, Chad and Kim were proud to unveil their brand new 26,000 sq. ft facility and have the grand opening of the first Parisi Speed School in the State of Indiana. The new facility is cutting-edge designed with a progressive, industrial feel to the gym. Inside the new space, you will also find the Rave Salon & Donnie Michaels Karate Studio, in addition to Club Fitness 24 and the Parisi Speed School. Kim & Chad's vision for the future is to have something fitness related for every member of your family all underneath one roof.

Kim & Chad both  are continually seeking to follow the Lord's will for their lives, their family and their business. The adventures & challenges of owning their own fitness facility seem never ending but, God has always provided for them and has always opened new doors along the way.
